Crux 2700 vs Black Series Dominator

Have begun looking for a rugged pop up camper to tow behind a 4runner. Came across both of these and read a few threads here on the Black Series.

Anyone familiar with Crux or compared the two?

It really depends on your wallet. Seems like the Black series is double the price. I have a CRUX 1600 and love it.

I think the crux have just hit the ground in North America. I'm curious about them too. I think i like the forward folding type of camper, though i've never used one. I wonder if the same model has been sold already in Australia or elsewhere under a different label.

I could have sworn I read something a while back that they had received a big order from a large retailer. Haven't seen a thing about it after reading that. Possibly Camping World? They're out of CO.

I never heard back from the owner. Wound up buying a used Black Series Dominator. Very happy going this route as there's a lot to be done. Have started a forum for Black Series to ensure moderators can't remove posts that aren't of high praise. Need to know the good AND the bad.

I think this is in the wrong forum though (Popup Truck Campers), i'd think it should be in the "Expedition Trailers" section. You may get more feedback there.
