Custom Built Off-Road Teardrop

I am creating this thread to share my build. I built everything from scratch, the tear drop its self is 10ft by 5ft including the 1 ft over-hang on the front and rear, it has a 7ft by 5ft sleeping area(perfect fir for a queen size mattress). The frame is mostly built from 2in x 2in square tubing and sits on a 3500lb axle, with 6 lug hubs to match my Tacoma that I tow it with. sits on 265/75R16 to match my truck as well. I have a 21 gal fresh water tank built in under the frame to take out door showers and to do dishes. I also have a drop down TV, led lighting, usb charging outlets, and a 12volt vent fan.

Welcome to the site. That looks great! We need more pictures. Of the trailer of course ... not you taking outdoor showers.

It's been about 5 months since I started, but that's while I was going to school full time and working and I did not have a garage for about a month and half of that, and it's not quite 100% finished, but its finished enough to camp in it. I still have to get the water pump hooked up, decide on a water heater, the rest of the electrical done, and figure out a good latch and handle setup for the rear hatch.

If you look at the last picture on post #5 you will see how I had a tarp full of water to let them soak for a couple days. It is 1/4 inch ply.
