Forgive me for being a long time lurker and for cross posting this on the TTORA forum (http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=169123), but I've had limited interest there and I figured someone here may be able to use this...
I made this to fit my 2006 Tacoma DC. I used ¾” plywood and covered it in gray indoor/outdoor carpet and fastened it down with glue and marine-grade SS staples. I designed it to hold my MT45 Engel Fridge (as shown in the picture, but not included) to the Engel Transit Slide Lock TSL540 (included).
Installation is simple. There's no drilling to the truck to make it fit. The board mount replaces the rear passenger "40-split" seat cushion and back cushion (40/60 split rear seats). After you remove the "40-split" seat & back cushions from the truck (4-bolts) the board mount secures to the factory lower seat hinges with pre-fitted/installed carriage bolts and self locking NyLock nuts. The design allows for access to underseat storage.
