Custom Front Bumper for my 98 Runner

I was recently introduced to Jimmy of Outdoor Logic in Riverside, CA. I went in to look at a friends cage because I didnt understand how he was describing it. While I was there he noticed that I had a nice rear bumper but a stock front bumper. I scheduled a time for him to start work on it and that I had to be allowed input into the design and build process. Well here is the result of our collaborative efforts.

First the mock up process:

Then the CAD drawings that followed:

Then the final product:

These are the price's he plans to offer at for bare steel. He is a fairly new shop that mainly built rock buggies and Jeep stuff. He was very happy to build my bumper and plans to add it to a "production" piece and also to develop more for our vehicles.

Bumper Flat (no hoops) = $750
Bumper Center Hoop Only = $800
Bumper Full Hoop (like mine) = $850

The roof rack is one he normally mounts on an XJ but test fitted it on my Runer to see what modifications he needs to produce for us Toyota guys.

Nice! That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for for my Suburban, but just the bumper. How long did it take and how long did he need your truck for?

He only needed a few days to build the mock up, however since he wanted to produce and adapt it to other vehicles he had to reverse engineer and put into CAD. Once they put into CAD cut it only took a couple days to weld together and then only needed an hour or two to put it on.

The main reason I like them is they listen and try to give you exactly what you want. Customer service is great and that is hard to find. The website is new and doesnt have anything on it really but the contact information is there. www.outdoorlogic.net

Thanks pikeman just talked to Jimmy he seems very helpful and I will be meeting on Friday morning to talk about tacoma bumpers front and back. I am going to ask him to help me build some stuff for my disability as I am stroke survivor. I hope all goes well.

Jimmy is a great guy and I am sure he will come up with some amazing stuff. Sorry about the stroke, but stay focused and positive about your recovery.
