Custom Handlebars?

What do you do when someone brings you a napkin sketch of a custom set of handlebars?

Well, you draw them in CAD...


And then you make them... I love my job

Rhino, Pro-Tools 105-HD (typical rotary draw bender, I was a racecar fabricator in a previous life), 7/8" x 3" CLR.

Tubing is .060" 4130. Knurling was done on the lathe before bending.

The kid that will ride these is jumping off houses (literally) and other nonsense, keeps breaking and bending off the shelf parts... We'll see how these hold up.

I wanna meet this kid. It amazes me he's breaking and bending the shelf parts. I saw these bars in person yesterday and if he breaks these, i want to see what the rest of the bike looks like!
