If the ad is up, its still for sale.

Selling a custom built off-road trailer, inspired by Australian and South African “adventure trailers”. It is built on the frame of an older Toyota Land Cruiser which was converted into a trailer. It is rock-solid, one-of-a-kind, and reliable. I’ve taken it to Moab, Utah, as well as camping trips across BC and AB. Sleep in comfort off the ground in bear country: true glamping experience: hot water, memory foam, shower, electrical, kitchen counter space, etc!

It is a very short trailer – ideal for complicated off road scenarios and maneuvering through forested areas. You can easily ford 3+ feet of water due to the ground clearance, and the approach/departure angles are likely better than any vehicle besides a monster truck. It has large (35”+) off road tires, and a spare rim is available.

PRICE: $5000. Adventure trailers are just starting to come to Alberta (I’ve seen less than 5 total ever here), and suppliers here are few and far between. Similar models (same functionality, albeit more polished finishes) will easily cost $18,000-$35,000, from companies such as Patriot Campers, XVenture or VMI Offroad. Compare another model here with somewhat similar functionality: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-travel-trai...eeps-7-in-full-comfort-only-990lbs/1375541882 .

LOCATION: Calgary, Alberta

General features:
1. 100W solar panel with 125RC 12V battery (marine deep cycle). Battery can easily handle a long weekend of camping for pump, mobile device charging, lights, etc. Solar panel comes in handy when we use a portable electric fridge. Solar controller properly charges and maintains battery.
2. Electrical cabinet has chargers and adapters for 3 x 12v car adapter, 2 X USB (expandable). Switches for lights, pump, etc. Exterior, water proof switches for turning on flood lights. The cabinets themselves are waterproof and dustproof.
3. LED Lights throughout (in tent, area flood lighting around trailer, telescoping LED light mast, lights in cabinets)
4. Treeline Outdoors RTT (roof top tent). Best sleeps I've ever had in a tent. Completely dark even in 11am sunshine. Memory foam mattress just 3cm narrower than queen, with an attachable lower vestibule room: good for luggage, dogs, or another bedroom. Tent is optional and NOT included in asking price (I'd prob prefer to keep it but am open to selling).
5. Eccotemp L5 In-line propane water heater (brand new), with shower head (that is used in sink, or on trailer side in optional Shower mode. Shower curtain rack slides out and curtain clips on for showering.
6. 2 x 10 Gallon water tanks underneath. We generally only use the water for cleaning.
7. Eccotemp 2.9GPM 50PSI self-priming pump. Using a system of quick hose connects, you can quickly pump water into tanks thru filter (from stream), or pump out the hot water shower head, or pump to something else (portable hot tub!). Generally, I fill tanks from garden hose via quick connects.
8. 3 burner Coleman propane stove.
9. Sink & Counter space, stained and sealed with food-grade stain & sealant. Plastic shelving units for cutlery, pots, etc.
10. Front truck box: enough room for attaching 1 or 2 20lb propane tanks, camp grills/etc, charcoal, Other storage mounts: max traxx, 2 folding tables, 2 chairs, firewood, misc awning poles, leveling blocks, etc.
11. Wired for electrical heating blankets in tent. Just plug your 12v electric blanket in, slip it in your sleeping bag, and sleep comfortably in the middle of winter. Great for the ladies in the middle of spring :)
12. Trailer has been sprayed with Raptor X truck bed liner above and below: 4 coats. Handles scratches and abuse extremely well.
13. Wheels are original Land Cruiser wheels, which have been powder coated and painted.
14. Maxtraxx, awning poles, high-lift jack are not included in selling price, but folding tables, plastic shelves, 1 propane tank, 2 leveling jacks, are included.

The price reflects the hundreds of man hours I’ve spent designing and building the trailer. The cost of parts (trailer, electrical, plumbing, heavy duty fittings, lumber, etc) were in excess of $4500. The ONLY reason why I’m selling is this project has inspired me to build an off-road teardrop, which is required with a new engagement and baby on the way.

Accordingly, I’m accepting reasonable offers, but am in no real hurry to sell. Please watch the video below for a quick rundown of how everything works, or send me an email. ()
