Custom Montero Netbook Mount

Here is the mount I've been working on. I used .125 in Aluminum plate for the base. The Ram mount is from Minimount as is the EEE 901 case and mount. It is a secure little setup. I still have to route the GPS puck. I had to get rid of the cubby hole and clock but that was no big loss...

To secure it in the cubby hole space I measured and bolted it to the 6 existing holes. They bolt to the metal center stack that is rigid.

Getting to the CD player is great if you don't use CDs... I have my Iphone plugged in or I could use Itunes from the Netbook.

How do you connect either the iPhone or netbook to the factory radio? I need something like this for long trips.

I'm sure there is a way but I just replaced the radio with a Sony one.

Cool mount. You should get if you didn't SSD for that thing. My HDD didn't like bouncing around.

Yup already done... Comes with an 8gb ssd and 4gb ssd. I replaced both of them. The 8gb with a 64gb ssd and the 4gb with a 32gb ssd! Should be good to go on that.

I bought an ARM processor SSD netbook, hoping to use it for GPS but it isn't compatible with anything I've found. But I seriously love this mounting! Nice work and thanks for the ideas!
