SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
Hello,
I am selling my CVT Mt. Shasta Extended Summit Series Tent. The tent is essentially brand new. I used it on one trip, then I stored the tent in a room with air conditioning. In the pictures, you can see that I have never taken the blue plastic wrap off the bottom of the tent.
I purchased the Mt. Shasta tent to have a smaller set up than my other tent. However, I ended up preferring my bigger tent. The tent is perfect for 2 adults up top, while also having a full room below the tent. The Summit series comes with a lot of upgrades. Such upgrades improve the long term durability and practicality of the tent: a diamond plated floor (a lot more robust than your typical roof top tent floor), a telescoping ladder, full annex room, waterproof mattress, anti-condensation floor mat, USB ports with overhead lights within the tent (to have the lights turn on and to charge devices the cord must be hooked up to a power source), and the tent fabric is upgraded to a more robust material that allows greater durability in whatever elements you may face.
CVT is a great company. The owner (Bobby) has always taken great care of me. I have purchased a couple of tents from him. There is nothing like camping in the middle of nowhere by yourself.
I am asking $2000 for this set up. If this set up was bought new, it would cost over $2800 with shipping—not including the other goodies I have listed below. I am located in Jacksonville, Florida (32258). I do not want to ship this beast. I travel a lot, so hopefully I can meet someone in person. https://cascadiatents.com/shop/mt-shasta-extended-summit-series/
I am including an extra travel cover for the tent, which is a $150 ($125 for cover and $25 for shipping). https://cascadiatents.com/shop/travel-covers-summit-model/
Also, I will package a Baja Rack Camper Shell Utility Rack w/ Wind Deflector with the purchase of the tent for $300. There is nothing wrong with the rack, it just needs a new powder coating: in some places the original coating has chipped off (see pics below). It fits this tent's dimensions perfectly. The racks are $685 plus shipping (e.g., shipping to Idaho is $200; shipping to Florida is $240). For $300, it would be a steal. There are a ton of attachment options for the rack that you can purchase yourself to mount gas cans, maxtraxs, and so on. https://www.bajarack.com/store/Camper-Shell-UTility-flat-Rack-with-wind-deflector-p102532094
Thanks!
