yep. Sal says he has found me a D2 with a slipped liner that I can use this engine to fix.

I went with a 1997 Discovery imported from Japan (300tdi & automatic) and converted to LHD. Price wasn't insane, body is immaculate (will be rustproofed within an inch of its' life upon arrival) and when I sell the 03 Disco, payback should not be more than two years. It's on it's way from Vancouver to Toronto right now. Should see it next week.

I bought it from a fellow in BC. He imported it, did the lhd conversion. If you do a search on Toronto Kijiji, there is a fellow just south of Barrie with 300 tdi Disco from the UK for sale. He also has a complete 300tdi/auto conversion kit for sale as well. I was going to go that route but couldn't find a clean enough D1 here in TO.
