Seriously considering a Novakool R2600.

Most of the people on this forum use smaller vehicles for traveling and use ice chest style fridge/freezers. I'm assuming from the model you choose you have more of an RV or larger cabin vic of some sort. Personally, I went with a National Luna unit. NL is more expensive than most but are top-of-the-line construction and quality control is what set them apart from other choices out there.

I don't know where the U.S. distributor of National Luna gets his units, but in South Africa they cost half of what they cost in the U.S. I don't know what we are getting in the U.S. to justify that price. I like my Dometic/Waeco fridge. It's cheaper than an Arb but very good quality.

I just ordered an Engle mt27. I first bought a whynter 45 but it was too big for my trailer and it seemed to draw down the batteries pretty fast.
