I've seen a couple of threads from members asking about portable solar panels so I just wanted to give a heads up that there will be an upcoming deal for the Aeiusny 60W portable solar panel. These are good for charging the portable power generators and does have 3 USB ports to charge your electronics as well.

The deal will start on Dec 4th from 4:15AM - 10:15AM PST. Sale price is $139 instead of $159 originally.

I have no affiliation with them and am not receiving anything in return. I purchased a portable power generator from them in the past and had inquired about a portable solar panel to charge this thing. The person that I had talked to remembered that I had wanted a solar panel and so informed me that there will be a sale on it.

Here is a link to the item: https://www.amazon.com/Aeiusny-Fold...d=1575422970&sprefix=aeiusmu+s,aps,208&sr=8-3

What would a person plan to do with this?
Good question. Not much output to work with. I doubt it'd keep a battery charged for long if a fridge was in use.

Even if the packed size wasn't a problem, at 7 lbs, I wouldn't want it in my backpack. I guess it could go in a canoe ok. ?‍♂️

In my experience these little foldables do not come close to the rated output power. Don't waist the money on this. Read the reviews on amazon as well. One persons best case could put 52% into his 10.8V/25.5Ah battery.

Yeah, I don't want one. :)

A man-portable panel would only work for me in rare circumstances, since I'm usually moving between campsites during the day. I mentioned a canoe since that would be one situation that would give a panel an opportunity to be used while moving. Other than that, I pack a moderate capacity battery for charging devices while backpacking, and I don't take multi-week backpacking trips that might justify bringing something like this panel along. For vehicle use, this one is just too wimpy to make much sense to me, even if it gave full output for hours.
