Decked storage vs bedslide for Tacoma with cap

Hi, looking to get a Tacoma for extended travel and general outdoor adventures and want to decide on the best under bed storage system. What would you recommend between these two systems. I’d be attaching a leer cap on top with Thule roof box and sleeping inside the Truck bed.

I think the Decked drawers are overkill if you will have cap, there are other drawer systems that have smooth/carpeted tops that would be much nicer to sleep on and make better use of the space around the drawers IMO.

We went with the Bed-slide system, for our Tacoma TRD Off-road Short-bed. Very handy for packing for different trips. The tie-downs are strong. We found storage bins that stake, and lock in place. Small rachet-straps keeps everything secure.

For my uses, I'd pick the bed slide. But, I don't sleep in the box of my truck.

Agreed. Every time I crawl into my box to offload stuff, I think how a bed slide would be nice.

I was going to say this is a tough call but if you're going to be sleeping in the bed, I'd say 100% drawers. If you weren't going to sleep in it, I'd think it would be closer. I personally went with drawers but I can totally see an argument for the slide. But, if you're sleeping in it, the drawers give you a flat surface (eliminate the wheel arch), and you wont have to move a bunch of stuff around to go to sleep since you'll be sleeping above most of it.
