DEF tank for FGB71

Where is the DEF tank? On the owner's manual, I read about the need to maintain the DEF Adblue level etc. But I can not find where the tank is, and also my dash had the DEF level darken, ie not lit.

Any ideas?

Are you sure your truck has a DEF tank?
Pretty hard to miss if it does.

I have not idea as I just bought the truck and getting acquainted with it.

Shouldn't they all have one ? Not being a diesel person, I have no idea if it is a standard thing.

Your owner's manual should show you the location of the tank, if there is one.

There is nothing looking remotely like it anywhere, such a big tank. Does yours have one ?

Nope, but mine is Euro4 and only has an EGR, not a DPF.

If you did have one, it would most likely be close to your fuel tank, but from memory, the Australian FGB71 does not use Adblue.

Just looked at pics of the 2021 Oz-spec FGB71 - there is no Ad-blue tank on the chassis, and the exhaust pack is different from my UK/Euro truck. That will also explain why the level on the dash doesn't light up. You guys are so lucky, it makes your truck far better for global travel (able to tolerate crappy diesel).

Ad-blue is a rort. It's 32% urea, 68% water, and sourced from the pork industry - very expensive pig's piss basically.
