Defender 110 on Ebay

Legally imported

It is here legally because of its age. I would guess somewhere around 20K. They have to be 25 years old to legally enter the USA. If you look there is a 2005 Defender Quad Cab which is totally illegal and not even a real Defender.
Amazing what some will do.

There's a thread on D-90.com discussing the illegality of that 2005 Defender. Definitely sounds like a stay away.

I am referring to the fact that the One Ten wasn't put into production until 1983 and this is a 1979. The "Defender" moniker didn't come into use until 1990. From 1983 to 1990, they were simply known as "One Ten" and "Ninety". The Series III was in production from 1971 - 1985 and I suspect someone is using a Series III title on a One Ten or Defender.

I think there are a lot out there who assume the body style is a Defender. gte asked all the time when in my series "where did I get my Defender".
Again you are probably right and that makes two Defenders on EBay that should not be listed as such.
