Hello,
Pasting my for sale bit from another (Land rover specific) forum.
SO...I'm PCSing from Italy a year early. This means that I either have to put the 130 in storage for a year + pay for shipping/import (and go w/o a truck for a year) OR try to sell her. This brings me to this post:
Listing my 1991 Defender 130, 200 tdi, RHD, 156k miles, original chassis drivetrain and motor. 130 is my daily driver. When I rescued her from the UK last year she had (what I'm pretty sure) were the original shocks/springs, a leaking fuel tank, rusted out floor panels, and was in need of some servicing. I added 2" TF Heavy Duty shocks/springs, a new fuel tank replaced the floor panels and added B-Quiet insulation + and a rubber liner (intention is to put Exmoor Trim rubber flooring on top), new headlamps, new front military-style bumper, new side-view mirrors with XL arms + regular servicing. Truck drives like a champ and while I don't want to let here go, I also do not want to go a year w/o a rig. I think its a fair price as the truck would go for AT LEAST $40k in states, but given that buyer would have to wait a year to import + shipping etc, I think $35k is reasonable. My intention is to sell and have enough time to find a replacement truck out here (25yr old) before I PCS in Feb (don't think I'll be lucky enough to find a 130 though). A few pics attached, but I can add more upon request. (canopy and hoop set included, not the RTT)
Interior pics are from last year before I replaced the floor panels.
