Defenders more uncomfortable than Discovery's/Range Rovers?

I have a owned the D90 for 17 plus years and I can honestly say that 300-400 miles is my limit w/ the soft top; not just uncomfortable but really loud w/ 35's, etc.............We just drove from Taos to HITR, UT (400 miles) last week and it was not easy at all. I have considered converting to a SW for comfort or trailering to Moab in October. But I still love my D90.......
