Denso fuel pump on ebay

Good day!

I found this Denso fuel pump on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/270678885763. The poster claims it is Denso and is Made in Japan, but it is in a Beck & Arnley box. I always use OEM parts, but the fuel pump at the stealer is nearly $500.00. I found identical ones on ebay, amazon, etc for nearly double the price. All opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect that is an actual Original Mitsu OEM part. What I've found is that as parts inventories age, Mitsu will eventually sell off their entire inventory year by year to various aftermarket sources.

I encountered this when I recently purchased a replacement ignition switch from the local Advance Auto Parts. The replacement unit was in a 3rd party box (Beck Arnley also IIRC) but was an Original Mitsu part. I can confirm what box it came in and that it is an OEM part this evening since I have an extra switch.

No, but if the truck has sat for number of years it may have a problem. There is such a truck here on the ranch, that's why I bought one.
