Departure angle on a RB vs an EB?

Hey guys, I'm looking to start my next build. I'm thinking of doing a RB build as the departure angle will be better, but losing some extra space is obviously a downside. Does anyone have an 8 inch U-Joint kit on a EB? I would be curious to know what the departure angle is on that set up, versus a 6 inch kit on a RB build. If anyone gave give some measurements, I would appreciate it!

Why dont you go ask in the Ujoint builds thread. The folks that can help you are probably hanging out there.

Some sort of lost...
Without having exact numbers, I believe the extended body is 19-20" extra hanging off behind the axle. 2" of extra height is going to make a very small improvement in the grand scheme of things.

Using these numbers, you would need 8 inches of body lift on the EB to get the same angle as the RB. That's theoretical though...I didn't use actual measurements and simply calculated RB as 20" and EB as 40".
