Designing a Simple Water System

Seems simple would be two 5 gal jugs under the sink counter, fresh water through a flex line to an in line filter to a marine hand pump. The drain is flex hose to the other jug next to the water jug. Change out as needed. No electric needed. Later, set your water heater on a wall above the sink, the hand pump should draw water through a gravity fed system. Could use two hand pumps and separate flex hose for hot and cold from the same jug, still no electric needed except for the heater/battery to open the gas. ???????
