$334 shipped. Bolts to the pintle mount on rear x-member. I love not having my tire inside anymore and love that I saved about $1500 bucks on a rear bumper. Keeping the pig as light as I can. Mark at Detours is as nice as they come. If you are looking for an alternative to a bumper and want your tire outside the vehicle this is a great product. I don't notice any sway as of right now. Haven't had it off road yet though. Please discuss.

very economical! How's it like getting into the rear hatch once the carrier is folded down to the ground?

I don't really notice it because I know the tire is on the ground if that makes sense. Also can double as a step to the rear bumper for roof rack access.

If all movement can be eliminated this is an awesome option! I'm going to build a hitch mount version of this same concept for our 100 series if I run a tire that won't fit underneath.

It will shimmy but it's not noticable

I had something similar on the front hitch of my old K5 Blazer. I modified mine so it wouldn't fold down and be more rigid.

Looks like it would require a cross-fit squatting event to access the hatch.
