Diamond Creek Road to the bottom of the Grand Canyon

If I remember right, Diamond Creek is the only place that a fellow can drive to the river while in the canyon.

I'm pretty sure you're correct, Mikey.

The bottom of that road is the only place I've ever seen a flash flood in person. Thankfully, it wasn't very large but it was amazing how quickly the water arrived and then subsided.

Believe me, Todd, that though crossed my mind. A storm could be out of sight and produce a flood when you consider the size of that drainage.
