Did someone say adventure?

Hey there, I have long lusted over the built 4x4 vans in this area of the forum and decided about 2 weeks ago that this is what we were going to do. First the built jeep jk needed to be sold! Fast forward 2 weeks and I listed in several online forums with little bites here and there.

I drove the rig from Denver to Asheville for the overland expo and while driving around town today I had a guy that saw it ask to see it. He made an offer and I accepted

My terms: I needed to store expo show stuff for our booth for a few days, needed a ride to the bank and then the airport. I then called the dealership I have been working a deal on a van with in Swedesboro NJ and placed a deposit on the new van over the phone.

It is a 2003 eb E-350 with 7.3 power stroke motor and has 130k miles. I am typing this post from the Asheville airport as I have an 8:10 flight out! Wish me luck on this new adventure!

Been in your shoes for the same exact van. Only difference is it took me almost a year to find the van we bought, lol. Nerve racking and exciting as hell at the same time. Best of luck on your journey!

I thought I found a creampuff before I bought my current van (which is sort of a cream puff) so I flew to Chicago to pick up the 45k mile government surplus van, only to find a rusted out, repainted, door seals falling off, low mileage disaster.

Hope your advanture doesn't end up like mine did.

Though, when I got home (thanksgiving eve) I found my current van with 0 rust, in good shape, for 7k less $$$, a half hour train ride from the house. So it all worked out.

Wow where did you find that?!?!? I'm 4.5 miles from the airport if you need anything.
