diesel furnaces with thermostats

happy new years everyone.
so just starting down the road of our build, and we are looking into heating options. we would like to go with a diesel furnace, since its a diesel powered truck.
most of the ones I see do not operate with a thermostat. unless we go with the $1,400 webaso furnace. but all the cheaper amazon ones seem to be just an on/off controller.

we living in the north so warming this beast is going to be important for sure.

I installed an amazon diesel heater in my trailer (Intech Flyer Explore). While shopping, I didn't see any with a thermostat. There's an on/off feature, but you can also adjust the "dosing rate" of the fuel. It's basically an injector & furnace. I almost always ran it at the lowest dosing setting.

Avoid choosing a unit that has more heating capacity than you need otherwise it will cycle on and off too much. Check the minimum heat output. Some turn down lower than others before switching off and then re-starting. Open a window.
We have a Webasto. I don't use the thermostat, just on-off.
Cheers,

I have a HLN Aerolyn Pro diesel heater that has a true thermostat in the controller that controls the heat output and can turn the unit on/off. HLN makes a quality heater so they aren't cheap, but are still about half the cost or less of a Webasto.
