diesel power portable air conditioner?

would a small diesel powered 1000-1500btu air conditioner be possible that could keep a tent or small camper cool overnight.

Not sure there are any small diesel engines that could power such a tiny thing. It would also be really loud especially over night. Batteries for the win.

what about diesel heater? are they loud? would the engine need to be bigger to run an ac?
