Diesel water separator and filter

Flow through the filter can be 2X consumption, or more, when return fuel is included.
Another vote for CAV filters.
I have one after each tank and before the Pollok valve and another after the valve, before the HP pump.

I also have a Pollok valve - having a pre-filter before the valve is a must, as a bit of dirt will ruin the seals and then they leak.

That is quite helpful - thank you. I definitely like that price point. And I love the large amount of options.

I found a single here with what seems to be the larger glass area. I will do that now and eventually add a pump as you did.

Check how good they are at separating water. Years ago I headed up a FSR for hours. On the way down I found out that pumping all the fuel out of drums was a stupid idea. After draining the filter a few times I swapped some hoses and pressurized the filter with the electric pump leaving the drain on the bowl open just enough to drain the water. The water alarm save me. Since then I've never installed a filter that doesn't have one.
