Wow, that was a tough day on the trail. Kelsey was awesome and kudos to her for keeping at it. It would have been a role reversal for sure on our end. I would be pulling cable and my wife would be driving.
Sorry to hear/see the damage on Goose. I ripped the rear fender off on my (old) LX450 years ago when I got caught down in a river crossing.

Great video and well done to you both for all the hard work. You mustn't get too upset about the damage to Goose. Just think about the situation you were in - slippery mud, drop offs, darkness, fatigue, constant winching to name a few - and thankfully neither of you got hurt. As my mate always says to me, "it's only metal", which is so true. Remember, Goose can be fixed easily, you can't!

This week we head to Antigua and Lake Atitlan to explore and relax. I love that we were visiting a lake that my mom used to waterski when she was a flight attendant for Panam during stopovers. What a trip!

This week I get to drive our new buddy's Porsche 911 around Guatemala City and head to a car show in Antigua before flying back to work Overland Expo East for a few weeks!
