This is the bumper I run. Steel, and close to stock in appearance.

I have a RTE on the front and quite pleased.

I designed a rear thats similar to stock and functions as a slider as well. I should be picking up the material to build it this week or next.

If you can weld, I'd certainly suggest building your own.

That looks awesome, but my only options are store bought.

I was looking at that too as a back up, but it seemed to stick out quite a bit which could be an issue for loading.

Actually it doesn't stick out any further than the stock bumper or the one above. You can tell be looking at the hitch which is flush with the bumper on the RTE as it is with the stock bumper.

For sliders, the best ones are those that bolt to the frame, not the sill, or maybe the frame and the sill. The ones that bolt to the sill will flex up into the doors and ruin them with hard impacts. Rockware or Rockstar fab make ones like this.

Here is a modified RTE that they did for me- allowed me to remove the factory hitch whilst integrating one into the bumper. Note: we removed the lashing points after final fitment, as they are NOT recovery points:
