Disco 1 Roof Sealant?

Folks, I'm fixing a PO's repair on the roof of my wife's Disco 1. The truck suffered some minor roof damage from a tree and the sealant where the roof meets the rain gutter is cracked. Anybody have a favorite/recommended stuff that'll fix this once and for all?

The best way ( I just restored my 110 and did it ) to seal is apply the sealant of choice, then soke a brush ( 3/8 width I used ) in Lacquer Thinner and brush over to smooth ( also rubber gloves and finger work well ) after you are done it will be as smooth as glass.

Remember to remove old sealant and use scuff pad on the surface before applying the new sealant

Sikaflex 252 should work. Or construction adhesive, or "liquid nails"
