Disco1 or 2?

I have driven a D1 manual and it sure seems to have a lot more power than a slushbox D1. Maybe its just a control thing, but it sure felt stronger than the autos I drove. The manuals are just really tough to find. I am kicking myself for not picking up a 95 D1 manual with 85k original miles last year...

Then again, I love my P38 :victory: (But that statement would just start an onslaught of banter about how awful my truck is and it was the worse thing to roll off an assembly line in the history of Land Rover.) Its been great for me.

Love whatever you drive and make your own decision.

Drive a bunch of trucks as you will see some poor examples out there. When you find the one, you will know. :smiley_drive:

What no pics of the new rig?

Ryan and I got back last night after driving over 1300 miles in the new Disco. I named it "Clutz" but after thinking back on the trip, "Oaf" seems to be a better name. A big, top heavy, cumbersome rig! A blast to drive and tons of the typical Rover character! I don't want one, but can't wait to wrench on and wheel with it.
