Discovery overhead console in Montero?

Has anyone tried installing the oem Land Rover Discovery overhead console in their Montero? I saw one at the junkyard the other day, and it had lots of useful pockets and got me thinking, but there weren't any Monteros at the yard to test it out on.

In my Gen 1, I modified a steel tray to fit above the visors. I had to relocate the visor mounts to the underside of the tray. I used the visor mounts and the rear view mirror mounts to hang the tray. The tray had a lip on the front and rear edges. It was very handy.

Even better if you get it for $5-10 at a yard. I might give it a shot.

Once I thought about a project like that and put it on the back burner because of other things going on, now this brought it back, I will look at this and other options.
