Dismounting tires by hand

I'm working on a series of videos on tire repair that I'll be posting on our web site. The series of videos are to accompany the tire repair clinic at http://www.adventuretrailers.com/tireclinic.html They will cover everything from plugging a tire, to sidewall repair, and mounting a new tire onto a rim.
As with everything it's 75% having the right tools, 15% using the right tool before you head out into the field. 5% is being familiar with your specific tire and rim, and the other 5% is shear luck.
I'm a big fan of Tyrepliers, they are small to pack, lightweight, and provide enough leverage to make the job straightforward. I’ve used them in the field for everything from a valve replacement to sewing and patching a sidewall. They work. i have always used a hilift and a big srewdrive or a left spring a single leaf. I do this at least once a week by the way. I have it down to a since and can typicly do off and on in less tiem than lesschwab we raced one day i did a set of 33 in the tiem it too the boys to do a set of 31 i was puting on my first as thay dismounted ther last.
