I swear I’ve seen a skottle with a set of collapsible legs. That would be perfect for this project.

What's the distance between the legs of the bayou griddle? I wonder if you can slip a "shelf" over the legs and use a gasone flat single burner instead of the coleman burner..

Not sure I am following you on what you are asking. It is flat on the bottom so you can use it by just sitting it on top a grill or stove.

I’m trying to improve on the original design where the Coleman burner is suspended by wires. I already have a gas one so I don’t want to buy another burner.

Here’s a drawing of what I’m Thinking.

Add a little shelf that sits on top of the legs under the griddle and plop gasone on it.
