DIY Pop-Tops?

I have really been tossing around the idea of pop topping my m1010. Was wondering if y'all know of any threads i can look through with some good information. I did some searching and couldn't get anything to pop up. (no pun intended)

Still looking for any builds on this.

Was thinking about using a pop top roof top tent and cutting the floor out of it and mounting that on the roof ? I saw it on an unimog the other day but couldn't find any other information on it

There was a ambulance build that used a rtt with the floor cut out somewhere on here but I don't remember anything else about it.

I agree. I have a sport trac and none of the new style campers fit it's small bed. A RTT with a removable floor would be perfect. I could get in and out in my truck bed, have shelter (think FlipPac). Basically a cheaper version the GFC but would fit my small truck bed.
