Do you happen to have a link to the Exped Duo mat you used? I'm curious about the dimensions to see if it'd fit inside my Columbus. It might be too wide.

Any thoughts on using 8020 for the whole frame?

This build is awesome and I really enjoyed reading it, thank you so much for sharing.

as in the spaceframe? That would significantly increase the overall cost and with the angles in the frame that isn't really feasable anyway.

He isn’t selling any products or plans. Just a few cut files on how he did his.

This certainly isn't a 100% copy of anything. Wedge style pop up tents have been around since the 1920s, there is no IP in Rips design. I applaud Rip's willingness to share the cut files. Although if you are not building his exact camper, they will only be a reference and will need to be modified to be useful for your own design.

The sum shown in the spread sheet is accurate, though it didn't include any tax or shipping as those are variable for each person.

Ripcord, how do you like the 2085 hinges at the front? Do they space out the 8020 rails a little bit to accommodate for the bulb seal?

Thanks for the support, plh!

Yeah those aluminium hinges work fantastic. They create the perfect amount of space for that bulb seal and are plenty strong. I used some plastic hinges at first but it was clear they would not hold up, so I switched to the aluminium and adjusted the spreadsheet accordingly.
