do indoor shooting ranges allow you to film yourself shooting ?

I wanted to make a short video of myself shooting one of my handguns for a youtube video. Anyone know if indoor shooting ranges are usually cool with that ?

You probably just need to ask the people who run the range. I know my club is against it (for some odd reason) while other clubs/ranges have no issues with that.

Just ask. Some folks may have a concern in regards to whom & exactly what you are recording. I personally wouldn't want to be recorded on someone's u-tube, without my OK.

Most definitely just ask the range. Every range is different, but all will appreciate the courtesy of you asking instead of them having to come out and tell you to stop shooting (sorry couldn't help with the pun there).

IF you ask, they'll say no. If there's no signs forbidding it, do it. Or wait until the end of your session so if they kick you out you haven't lost much.
