The new tyres don't make the Disco look fat, they make the Disco look grown up.

Those are the showroom stock tyre size for US spec Defenders and about the same diameter as stock 109 Series Land Rovers. They make the Discovery look quite handsome and grown up. And if the metal seems a tad close you could always take up an Eastern religion .. OME

I like the look without the flares. But you might want to find a patch of mud and run you disco through with & without (cleaning the mud off the sides in between) to see if they really do serve a useful function.

FYI I have OME HD all the way around. It might be the angle of the picture, or maybe the tires are a little larger than spec's, but there is a little more room than it looks, although more room is always better. The first picture looks really tall because of the flares and smaller tire size I think...

They are the AB ones, good back spacing, much better than the others from what I have seen.

Those look like they will tuck OK. My pro-comps stick out substantially more than that.

They look great! I am a fan of the wheel-flares myself.
