Do your king pins and cv`s look like this ??? :-(

Hello fellow Cruiser Lovers / Admirers yesterday during routine maintainance we discovered my truck cv`s and king pins were shot to bits. :Wow1:
Luckily for me my Best mate Mark had the time and patience to help me to repair both sides in one day and at the same time did some more work to his HJ61 Cruiser.:wings:Great mates are rare Big Thanks Mate :ylsmoke:

Nasty! Looks like you got to them in the nick of time. Rebuilding Birfields is part of the bonding process with a Cruiser.

Your welcome mate, it's always good to swing spanners with like minded folk. Next weekend I'm changing all my diff, gearbox and t/case fluids so come over and we can change out your front diff oil as we'll.

Those king pins and races were nasty 😩 I reckon we got them just in time. With all this maintenance, we will have the best kept trucks in tassie!!!!

Yep they were well past there use by date. LOL
I have another post here on the shackle bushes I have also replaced
That was a pretty dirty job but It has made the cruiser so much more stable to drive.
