That front lip is calling out for some reinforcement. A thin piece of aluminum to sandwich the fiberglass to the top of the cab would help to repair that section.

If I were repairing that lip, I would use WEST System Epoxy and lots of glass cloth to back it up. Once fiberglass gives up the ghost repairs with polyester resin are almost always prone to fail. My .02.
