Dodge Ram 5.7 Power Wagon questions

Yup. If the 5.7 dies, I’d love to shoehorn a 6.4 into this thing, but I doubt it would be an easy swap into a 3rd gen. The radius arms are fantastic too, but I paid half for the ‘05 with the same mileage as the 13 I was looking at, and the 13 had some “unsavoury” additions and modifications. That half will cover a brand new 5.7 should I need one.

I have a power wagon and I've owned a 2500 with a 5.7 the 5.7 issue is with lifter failure and the "hemi tick"

I few days back I randomly came across a youtube channel where the guy had a fix for this... a higher volume or pressure oil pump. Found it...

That’s good info, but only pertains to ‘09 and up. Maybe Dodge has an OEM high volume pump for the earlier 5.7s?

Oil changes on the regular are the best defence at this point, and I just completed its first under my ownership and will be sending a sample off to the lab for analysis once the sample bottles arrive. If it shows excessive wear on the cam or lifters from the sample results, I’ll start putting some research into the best solution. The rest of the truck is in fantastic shape.
