Does anyone make a hard shell RTT that is 48" wide ?

I would love to have a Maggiolina, as I have slept in one and they are awesome. But I'm dealing with some width constraints, and I can only have a RTT that's 48" wide or less. I'm flying solo.
I have Googled up and down, but I have yet to find a hard shell RTT that fills the bill.
Anyone ?

This is for trips to Rubicon Trail, Fordyce Creek, etc, on this POS:

Thanks for the help !

I have not seen any, as the narrowest Maggiolina and Columbus models are 51" wide for both small models.

Make one. You seem to have a good handle on the mechanical side of things. Anyway you think you could learn/do a little woodworking/fiberglass work to make it happen?

Funny you should mention this I'm toying with the idea of putting one on a trailer. It too has a 48" width restriction though it could overhang I'm interested to see what comes about from this.

Just remembered I had seen this vid on YouTube its a good watch if nothing else and handles our British weather with ease.

Nice! I've given up on roof/trailer top tents, but this is inspiring me to consider a DYI hybrid popup.

The narrowest manufactured RTT I know of is the La Hussarde at exactly 48.5" wide, but getting one stateside might be more difficult than building one: http://www.hussarde.fr/
