I was going to keep this to my self untill I built something simalar out of a cap for the back of the taco. But I get so many Idea's hear that I thought I would share if you haven't seen this yet.

Seen that guys site before. He has done some amazing work and owns some really cool military rigs. That trailer is pretty cool, i'd like to see how you guys go about making one like it. I'll be watching this thread.

I have seen that one to. Very nice. I would build the top strong enough to mount a rack of some sorts.

Here's a peek at what I'm thinking,
this is so you can sit, eat,or change clothes almost standing up.
Sleeping platform is in two pieces and slides back for siting or standing
and forward for sleeping.
Plus I use my truck for my DD and as a truck to work on my house, yard
or what ever comes up. This will work till I can build my pop-up slide in like 4Wheel camper.
So this will project is going to take me some time since I live in New England
and don't have a garage to work in. This gives me some time to find another cap for a guinea pig.

You have heard of wildernest and the flip-pac (I think thats the name anyone?) haven't you?

Could be cheaper to find one of those, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun as building one! We see the wildernest's pop up here on craigslist every once in a while for the 3-500 dollar range.

After finishing my trailer boxes I will be replacing my old roof tent...with...........either a replacement cover..home made...or doing something completely diferent , maybe even hard sides...I'm just not that far along yet.
