Im looking to pull the back seats and get a couple drawers that go full length and the bolt a couple seats to the top of the drawers so i can attach my kids car seats. Hoping to end up with the same seat height as oem given i dont need folding rear seats nor any spacer under them. Plan is to put my fridge in the middle between them. Has anyone every done anything like this? I want metal drawers as i will be bolting seats to them.

Suggestions? My main driving force was we just had another baby and now I had to put the second back seat back in and move my fridge to the back which kills my storage space back there. The back seats in a classic are only two piece with one seat being a single and the other seat being the middle and other side.

My first thought is this is likely a bad idea. And I still think that. It could be done but the risk is the safety of your kids sitting in kid seats bolted to metal drawers bolted to the vehicle.

Look at how car/SUV seats are attached to the vehicle (and the seat belts too) and consider what you'll need to do to replicate the strength of that connection when you bolt drawers into the vehicle and bolt the kids seats to the drawers. The frames of the drawers will have to be very well designed to connect to the vehicle and the kids seats.

IMO losing some storage space is better than the other risk.
