Drawer slides

Looking like Lee Valley will be the way to go. With the special on shipping they have right now, it seems like the best way to go. 3 weeks to Moab, so I need to get his wrapped up.
Thanks again to everyone for the input.

Hmmm. That is strange. It says $28.50/ea, but then it also says "sold in pairs". A little confusing. I am not sure I could bring myself to trust a sub-$30 pair of 250 lbs slides....

I haven't lost any sleep while travelling with my $28 drawer slides. I'd be happy to sell you a set for $75 if it would make you feel better.:sombrero:

Read every page in your build thread tonight and loved the slide out setup / drawer setup you made for the Edgestar among many other things truly a nice setup. I'm wanting to do something similar for my Edgestar after looking at that. Especially finding out these slides are so reasonable price wise. I mean every other slide elsewhere is $50+ each $100+ for the pair at this rating. But, these appear to be $14 a slide $28 for the pair. Is that right? I mean when you ordered them you paid $28 plus shipping for two slides? Just curious as I don't wanna order and only get one slide in the mail. I guess I should call them today and verify for the rest of us.

Yes, 2 slides were $36 shipped to my door. I'm not sure why more people don't use them. They don't lock out which could be an issue for some. I only found one reference to them on EP and the poster was immediately chastised for recommending a non-expo company. I thought that was pretty silly. Maybe I will be proven wrong, but so far I've been very happy with my purchase.

I have held off on doing the slide out drawer at this time. I added another shelf to my rear platform/storage setup. I have had a few unforeseen issues pop up that won't allow me the time to make the drawers the way I want. Also, I already see a redesign in my future, once u get back from Utah of course. I also was able to get a campmate and based on dimensions given to me by my brother who secured it in NorCal, it seems the Coleman may actually Cyr in the top compartment. I think I will be going with these $28 slides in the end however.
Thanks to everyone who offered opinions and sources. Before I head out in two weeks I will take some pics and try to start a build thread.

Well, those are indeed very nice. And kudos to you for testing out such a low-priced product...and I hope it remains a success!
I was almost gonna go with 200lbs slides, but I was a bit worried about the weight (loaded fridge, rough roads, etc.). In my searches, I couldn't find anything around 250 or 300 lbs, so I went with 400 lb slides. Paid nearly $100 after shipping from lee valley.
