Looks good in its new home! And now you and I are in the same stage, except I still have a little more painting to do where I didn't want to pay to have some surfaces covered... I've moved on to designing my electronics compartment!

Are you going to do anything with the open sides? Side covers with access doors maybe?

Excellent news! I would love to see some progress pictures. Next up for me as well is designing my electronics compartment and as far as the open sides I know an inverter will most likely end up mounted on the drawers somewhere towards the end and re-thinking my water supply as well... Not sure if I will ever fully enclose the sides but definitely a thought........so many possibilities!

What type of electronics are you installing?

You seem to have plenty of room on the sides / four corners for 20L MWCs. Would be easy enough to fit a spigot to one to use it as a dispenser or wash station.
Too, there are several types of soft-sided water bladders available in various capacities. You could fit a lid on one of the rear side locations and use such a bladder to fill almost every cubic inch of that space with water. A cubic foot = 7.5gal. So if you have say 10"x10"x20" in that rear area, that would give you a little over 8-1/2 gals of water in that cubic. The 5gal collapsing bags are ~$12 last I looked, you could use two, partially filled, so you've got some redundancy in case of a leak.

But very sturdy milspec 5gal / 20L MWCs can be had from LCI for about $25ea. They are far sturdier than the squat blue aquatainers and can take a lot more abuse.

Thank you for those thoughts...I will consider all those options for sure! Ideally I would like to put some water on top of my shell in a tank that you can purchase from Valtera.com but still not sure...those void spaces are sure prime candidates for water though...

It has been a while, these add-on projects have been brewing since I built the drawers and so here it is. Additional improvement's to drawers will be added but did not get the chance to accomplish or take pictures.

Had the chance to make some more progress on the tilt fridge slide. Next step is to order a dampen spring, a securing system for the fridge and a way to keep the whole unit secure while underway.
