Took the X out to wheel a bit today.. Was a great day till I cut a brake line..

Ended up having to visegrip the line off... I was lucky it was the rear line

Looks like the plastic part that holds the lines off the heat shield broke and the line had worn a hole from the heat shield..
Id say any fronty or Xterra should look at this.. We popped the hood on another Xterra and sure enough .. doing the same thing..
Over all I was pleased with how the stock Xterra did on its first trip...
Looks so tiny next to lifted Xterra's

What are your overall impressions of the NISMO exhaust? Build quality, ect. I think that will be my next purchase for the fronty. I have yet to see a NISMO up here, but there are some Gibson’s running around on xterras and frontiers in this neck of the woods.

The Nismo cat back is the way to go, much heavier than the OEM, easy to install, good sound lower backpressure. All of the things that you want in an exhaust.

If you can swing it do set of thorleys, and the nismo cat back at the same time, I would recomend getting CEL eliminators but that is up to you. If you dont mind the orange CEL lit up all of the time dont worry about them. If you do they are easy to install while you have everything appart.
