Needed to mount fridge while keeping as much floor space as possible. The decked system has cubbies on the side that i needed access to. So I built a tilt for the tilt slide.

How do you like using the decked drawers with the Gofast camper? I've been thinking about getting both for my truck, but I'm curious how you feel the height of the decked system affects livability in the camper/tent?

Is the wood piece mounted to the deck and you built a quick release? What is the quick release?

I have a love hate feeling about the decked system. Very well built and strong, but very heavy and has a lot of wasted space. I havent been out in the truck yet for exploring yet. That will happen next week for a 10 day trip. I will report back then

The wood frame has a piano hinge on the front side. Still trying to think of a latch for the back side. Right now its a bungee cord

Had to make the backseat useful so built a platform. Slips in on top of the seats.

The decked system with the GOFAST Camper worked great. I ended up using the tent like a rtt and used the ladder to enter through the side window. In the mornings i would pull one of the small panels and do my morning routine and hygiene and it worked really good. Even with the decked system you could still pull a chair inside and sit in the camper and eat or just get out of the wind and read.

Changed things up a bit. Got rid of the GFC went to a soft topper with a Datin cage rack over the topper. Went to an Oztent RS1 with a cot. The oztent is a nice setup and cut a lot of weight out of the truck. No more climbing ladders everything is at ground level.

Is your fridge slide a DIY unit or a name brand? Did you get rid of the GFC unit or is it sitting in your garage taking up valuable space, being in your way all of the time, and just waiting for someone to come by and purchase it?

The fridge slide is from DFG Offroad, Sorry but the gfc is gone.

Thanks for the info on the slide. I see the logo now. They seem to have a much better price point than anything else I have seen.
