Drop-down tailgate

I've been wanting to convert my Jeep TJ's tailgate from opening like a door to dropping down like a truck tailgate. I went with a kit from SWAG, and it turned out very nicely.
Now I've got a surface to work on or put a stove when overlanding.

I put a CJ tailgate on mine when I extended the back of the tub, but I've never made the brackets to bolt the cables to fenders... I should just buy a set from SWAG, since their brackets look pretty nice. Using the TJ latch seems like a good idea, allowing the tailgate to b e opened even with a hardtop. I have to reach in through the soft top zippers to flip the CJ latches and open the gate...
