Hey everyone, it’s been a while. What, seven years or so since I was last wandering through these forums and wandering about the country? Anyhoo, I’m currently running a 2021 F350 DRW. I just put a down payment on a Bison Overland flat bed shell model and I’d like to hit the trails once again before the farm calls me back to putting down more roots in far north Idaho. I moved to Idaho and needed a better rig to tow my mini excavator around to various jobs. It’s been great for that! I really want a sweet rig but looking at new truck prices is making me seriously consider just keeping what I have and running with it. Are there other folks here running DRW’s ? I’d like to hear everybody’s opinion and why singles are better. I get the narrower trails but I may be trailering my Honda Pioneer 100-5 around for further exploration. I’d consider switching the dually to super singles and go with taller tires and a lift, but considering a build out inside the camper, I’m not sure if I can avoid breaking the bank. I’m currently hauling my old FWC Hawk on it but I’m over pop ups for many reasons and need more room and old person amenities.
if anyone of y’all remember me, I’m 6’9” tall and Bison Overland is making me a custom interior height of 6’11” or 7’. It’ll be a rigid wall camper.
