Hey guys, I've been a member here for a bit now, just havent done any posting.

I'd like to pick your brains and you photo albums, im looking for suggestions on where to mount a second battery. Right in front of the ABS module is not an option, I've already got an air compressor mounted there and i dont particularly want a battery sitting in the bed. Soooo, suggestions? what have you guys done?

For my 2007 tacoma I use a group 31 Sears platinum agm battery. that runs everything< fits in the stock posititon. for a backup I use a 22ah agm that fits on the driver side fender behind the fuse box outboard of the master cylinder. That's enough to start the truck weather freezing or 120 Deg. Its a small battery about the size for a big Jet ski but well over 200 cca. I have pulled the clamp off the main many times in different conditions and the little battery always cranks the 4.0 with no problem.

Here's a link to my dual battery write up that includes some references that you might find useful.

Not a worry at all, I posted the links as I remembered participating in them last time around, figured it would make a great starting point for your research. :victory:
