Dual bluetooth GPS for Ipad, Ipod, etc.

I've gotten out with it a little bit, but I haven't done an exhaustive test yet,. Accuracy wise, it's usually good for 32 feet + or -, which is probably good enough for most people, but I was hoping for better. I've heard some of the bluetooth gps sets that require jailbreaking have more accurate chips? I'm still glad I don't have to jailbreak os 4.3, which looks somewhat sketchy compared to earlier OS versions. The proprietary application did lock up once, but rebooting both the gps and the ipad fixed it right away.

The google maps only work within wifi coverage.

So can I accurately assume it's not a Sirfstar 3 GPS chipset?

You didn't have to pay for the unit did you? For the cost of the Dual unit, I would have expected a sirfstar3 chipset.

I hate when companies cheap out. I consider it mediocrity.
